🏆 Precision & Pace: The ‘Transfer the Ball’ Race Challenge 🏆

At Mother Teresa Memorial School, we believe that learning happens best when it is active and engaging. Our recent “Transfer the Ball” race was a perfect example of how simple materials—like cups and balls—can be used to build vital life skills in a fun, competitive environment. This activity wasn’t just about speed; it was a true test of a student’s concentration, steady hands, and strategic thinking. 🎯 The Challenge: How It Works The rules were simple but the execution required immense focus: The Setup: Five cups are placed in a row with a ball in the first cup. The Goal: Students must transfer the ball from the first cup to the second, then stack the first two together to move the ball to the third, and so on. The Twist: Students are strictly prohibited from touching the ball with their hands! The Win: The first student to reach the final cup and stack all five cups together is crowned the winner. 🧠 Skills in Action While the students saw it as an exciting race, this activity was designed to develop several key areas: Fine Motor Skills: Navigating the cups requires delicate and controlled movements. Hand-Eye Coordination: Aligning the cups perfectly to ensure the ball doesn’t fall. Concentration under Pressure: Maintaining a steady hand while four other classmates are racing alongside you. Patience: Learning that “haste makes waste”—if you move too fast and drop the ball, you lose time! 📸 Highlights of the Event The room was filled with cheers as groups of five students competed simultaneously. The level of intensity and the smiles of achievement at the finish line were truly heartening to see. It is these moments of healthy competition that foster a strong spirit within our MTMS family.

Celebrating Strength, Wisdom, and Devotion: Happy Hanuman Janmotsav!

At Mother Teresa Memorial School, we believe in celebrating the rich cultural tapestry that makes our community so vibrant. Today, we join millions across the world in celebrating Hanuman Janmotsav, the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman—the epitome of selfless service, humility, and incredible strength. For our students, Lord Hanuman serves as a timeless role model. His life teaches us that true power lies not just in physical strength, but in the wisdom to choose the right path and the courage to stand by it. Lessons from the Life of Bajrangbali As we celebrate this auspicious day, we encourage our students to reflect on the core values Lord Hanuman represents: Unwavering Devotion: His dedication to Lord Rama reminds us to be committed to our goals and our education. The Power of Humility: Despite his immense power, he remained a humble servant. We teach our students that success is most beautiful when paired with a grounded heart. Courage in Adversity: Whether crossing oceans or lifting mountains, Hanuman Ji showed us that no obstacle is too big if your heart is filled with faith and determination. A Special Message for Our School Family “May Lord Hanuman bless you with strength, courage, wisdom, and unwavering devotion. Happy Hanuman Jayanti to everyone celebrating today!” We pray that the spirit of this festival brings peace and prosperity to our students, parents, and faculty. May we all find the “Inner Hanuman” within us—the part of us that is capable of achieving the impossible through hard work and a pure heart. Wishing you all a blessed and Joyful Hanuman Janmotsav! Warm regards, The Management & Faculty Mother Teresa Memorial School
