🙏 Happy Mahavir Jayanti: Spreading the Message of Peace & Compassion 🙏

Today, the Mother Teresa Memorial School family joins in celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. Mahavir Jayanti is a day to reflect on the timeless virtues of truth, non-violence, and kindness toward all living beings. At MTMS, we believe that education is not just about books, but about building a character rooted in empathy and respect for others. The teachings of Lord Mahavir provide a beautiful guide for our students as they grow into responsible citizens of the world. ✨ The Core Values We Celebrate On this auspicious day, we encourage our students to embrace these simple yet powerful principles: Ahimsa (Non-violence): Being kind in our actions, words, and thoughts. Satya (Truthfulness): Having the courage to always speak the truth. Asteya (Non-stealing): Respecting the property and efforts of others. Compassion: Showing love and care for every living creature, big or small. 🕊️ A Message for our Students & Parents As we celebrate this day, let us all take a moment to practice a small act of kindness. Whether it is helping a friend, caring for a plant, or simply sharing a smile, these small steps help create a more peaceful world. “Live and let live. Love all, serve all.” — The Eternal Message of Lord Mahavir   🙌 Warmest Wishes from MTMS The Management, Staff, and Teachers of Mother Teresa Memorial School wish all our students, parents, and well-wishers a very Happy and Blessed Mahavir Jayanti. May your lives be filled with peace, harmony, and prosperity. “May the light of knowledge lead us to a path of peace.”

The day was filled with meaningful conversations aimed at understanding each student’s unique potential and ensuring they have the support they need to excel. 🌟 Highlights of the Day The PTM served as a vital platform for several key activities that contribute to our students’ success: Individual Progress Reviews: Teachers shared detailed insights into each student’s academic performance, highlighting strengths and identifying areas for improvement. Goal Setting: Educators and parents worked together to set realistic and motivating targets for the upcoming term. Maryada & Modernity: Blending Ancient Wisdom with Future Leadership

At Mother Teresa Memorial School, we believe that education goes beyond textbooks—it lies in understanding the rich cultural heritage and timeless values that shape our character. This week, our campus was filled with vibrant energy and devotion as we celebrated Ram Navami, marking the birth of Lord Rama. Embodying Our Core Values The life of Lord Rama serves as a profound example of the very principles we strive to instill in our students: Leadership: Understanding the responsibility of “Maryada Purushottam”—leading with integrity and a sense of duty. Wisdom: Making choices that reflect righteousness (Dharma) even in the face of challenges. Compassion: Showing kindness and respect toward all living beings. Growth: The continuous journey of self-improvement and discipline. Highlights of the Celebration Our students brought the epic of Ramayana to life through various activities. One of the most heart-warming sights was our young students dressed in traditional attire, embodying the strength and grace of Lord Rama. From storytelling sessions that highlighted the importance of keeping one’s word to creative displays of archery (as seen in our featured image!), the day was a beautiful blend of learning and joy. Seeing our students engage so deeply with these traditions reminds us that the future is bright when built on a foundation of strong values. A Message to Our Community As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, we wish all our students, parents, and staff a very Happy Ram Navami. May the spirit of this festival bring peace, prosperity, and the courage to always stand by the truth. “The beauty of Ram Navami lies not just in the festivities, but in the lessons of patience and devotion we carry forward in our daily lives.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHwCJz3FaQE

Celebrating New Beginnings: Happy Gudi Padwa from Mother Teresa Memorial School!

As the sun rises on a new Hindu Lunar Year, the air at Mother Teresa Memorial School is filled with the scent of fresh neem leaves, marigolds, and the promise of a bright future. We extend our warmest greetings to our students, parents, faculty, and the entire community on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa. The Significance of the Gudi Gudi Padwa is more than just a festival; it symbolizes the victory of good over evil and the arrival of the spring season. At our school, we believe these values align perfectly with our mission: to nurture wisdom, celebrate growth, and cultivate a spirit of resilience in every child. Just as the Gudi is hoisted high to signify triumph, we encourage our students to aim high in their academic and personal pursuits. How We’re Celebrating While the traditional Puran Poli sweetens our homes, at school, we reflect on the “bittersweet” lessons of life—symbolized by the traditional tasting of neem and jaggery. This reminds us to face challenges with grace and enjoy successes with humility. Cultural Awareness: Our students are learning about the rich heritage of Maharashtra and the scientific significance of the Vedic calendar. A Fresh Start: This festival marks the beginning of a new chapter. It’s a time to set new goals, foster new friendships, and renew our commitment to excellence. A Message from the Principal “May this Gudi Padwa bring an abundance of joy and health to your homes. Let us hoist the flag of knowledge and compassion in our hearts, following the path of service and kindness laid before us by our patron, Mother Teresa.” Join the Celebration! We would love to see how our MTMS family is celebrating at home. Feel free to share your festive photos with us or tag the school on social media! Wishing you a year filled with prosperity, peace, and plenty of learning. Happy Gudi Padwa!

🙏 Divine Blessings: Maha Shivratri Celebrations at MTMS 🙏

At Mother Teresa Memorial School, we believe in nurturing not just the minds, but also the cultural and spiritual roots of our students. This year, our campus was filled with the sacred chants of “Om Namah Shivay” as we celebrated a deeply moving and traditional Shiv Puja. The highlight of the event was the beautiful synergy between our students and teachers, who came together to celebrate the divine grace of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. ✨ The Divine Swaroop The atmosphere turned celestial as two of our talented students graced the occasion dressed as Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. Their presence brought the stories of our ancient Puranas to life, allowing fellow students to connect with our rich Indian heritage in a visual and memorable way. 🌱 A Lesson in Devotion: The “Mati nu Shivling” In a beautiful display of creativity and faith, our students and teachers hand-crafted a Mati nu Shivling (Clay Shivalingam). Eco-Friendly Tradition: By using clay, we taught our students the importance of returning to nature. The Ritual: With full Vedic rites, a traditional Abhishek was performed. Students participated in offering water and prayers, learning the significance of discipline and devotion in daily life. 📸 Capturing the Moments of Joy Spirituality is best experienced together. After the rituals, each class group gathered for a special photo session. These pictures capture the serene smiles and the sense of peace that filled the school as every student sought the blessings of Mahadev.

Our students and staff gathered to honor the spirit of the Indian Constitution through a magnificent display of unity and coordination. Each group marched in perfect synchronization, representing the discipline and dedication that MTMS strives to instill in every learner. The Guard of Honor: Students led the way with the Indian Tricolor held high, symbolizing our unwavering respect for the nation. House Spirit: Alongside the national flag, each group proudly displayed their house flags, showcasing the healthy competitive spirit and unity within our school community. Leadership with Compassion True to our motto, “Leadership with Compassion,” the Republic Day event was not just a parade, but a reminder of our responsibilities as citizens of a democratic nation. Seeing our young leaders march together under the flag reminds us of the bright and hopeful future they are building. Highlights from the Event The celebration included a formal flag-hoisting ceremony followed by the parade through the school grounds.
