๐ Divine Blessings: Maha Shivratri Celebrations at MTMS ๐
At Mother Teresa Memorial School, we believe in nurturing not just the minds, but also the cultural and spiritual roots of our students. This year, our campus was filled with the sacred chants of “Om Namah Shivay” as we celebrated a deeply moving and traditional Shiv Puja.
The highlight of the event was the beautiful synergy between our students and teachers, who came together to celebrate the divine grace of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati.
โจ The Divine Swaroop
The atmosphere turned celestial as two of our talented students graced the occasion dressed as Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. Their presence brought the stories of our ancient Puranas to life, allowing fellow students to connect with our rich Indian heritage in a visual and memorable way.
๐ฑ A Lesson in Devotion: The “Mati nu Shivling”
In a beautiful display of creativity and faith, our students and teachers hand-crafted a Mati nu Shivling (Clay Shivalingam).
Eco-Friendly Tradition: By using clay, we taught our students the importance of returning to nature.
The Ritual: With full Vedic rites, a traditional Abhishek was performed. Students participated in offering water and prayers, learning the significance of discipline and devotion in daily life.
๐ธ Capturing the Moments of Joy
Spirituality is best experienced together. After the rituals, each class group gathered for a special photo session. These pictures capture the serene smiles and the sense of peace that filled the school as every student sought the blessings of Mahadev.
