A Tribute to the Nation: Republic Day 2026 Celebrations at MTMS
On January 26, 2026, the campus of Mother Teresa Memorial School was filled with a profound sense of national pride and discipline as we celebrated India’s Republic Day. Our students and staff gathered to honor the spirit of the Indian Constitution through a magnificent display of unity and coordination.
The Grand Parade
The highlight of the celebration was the ceremonial March Past, featuring four distinct groups of students. Each group marched in perfect synchronization, representing the discipline and dedication that MTMS strives to instill in every learner.
The Guard of Honor: Students led the way with the Indian Tricolor held high, symbolizing our unwavering respect for the nation.
House Spirit: Alongside the national flag, each group proudly displayed their house flags, showcasing the healthy competitive spirit and unity within our school community.
Expert Coordination: The rhythmic precision of the parade was a testament to the hard work and practice put in by the students and their physical education mentors.
Leadership with Compassion
True to our motto, “Leadership with Compassion,” the Republic Day event was not just a parade, but a reminder of our responsibilities as citizens of a democratic nation. Seeing our young leaders march together under the flag reminds us of the bright and hopeful future they are building.
Highlights from the Event
The celebration included a formal flag-hoisting ceremony followed by the parade through the school grounds. It was an inspiring sight to see the vibrant colors of the uniforms and flags set against the backdrop of our campus.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their participation and for making this Republic Day truly memorable.
